Eric Justin Axtmann, 18, died Saturday, July 21, 2001, in an auto accident near Harrold, South Dakota.
Eric was born June 3, 1983, in Miller, to David and Guen Etta (Lynch) Atxmann. He was baptized and confirmed as a member of the Catholic Church. He would have been a senior this fall at Highmore High School, where he was active in sports.
He was a member of the Highmore Golf Team. He was an honor student and a member of the Hisodak Staff and past president of his freshman class.
Survivors include his father, David Axtmann, Highmore; one brother, Father Mark Axtmann, Yankton; and two sisters, Heidi Axtmann and Joanna Axtmann, both of Brookings, and aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Guen Etta, July 25, 1996.
