Willie Dot Isbell, 89, of Iola, TX passed away September 15, 2011. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Sunday, September 18th at Iola Missionary Baptist with the burial to follow at Concord Cemetery. Bro. Doug Jones will officiate. The visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 5 – 8 PM at Day Funeral Home Chapel. Dot was born on December 26, 1921 in The Cross Community to Will and Ida (Neeley) Hayes and she worked for many years with Alenco. Dot was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of nearly fifty years, Clarence Olan Isbell; her brother, Duben Hayes; and her sister, Bernice Byers. She is survived by her son, Michael Isbell and his wife Tammy, her grandchildren, Lance Raley, Leslie Currie, and Brianne Dempsey; and her great grandchildren, Paige, Dustin, Tyler, Michaela, Jenna, and Abree. Dot enjoyed playing dominoes with her friends and family, working alongside her husband at the ranch, and taking care of her pride and joy – Mike.
