Born in Lansing, MI to Verdie N. Kelley and Donis J.(Ray) Kelley. As a teen she played accordion and soon was playing in a small band. She later enjoyed teaching music (piano) as a young woman. Her love of music was something that was evident throughout her life. Later in life she was very fond of the 'bluegrass' style of music. She lived most of her life in Michigan, raising two daughters by herself after her divorce. She did move to Hawaii with her two daughters in the late 1960's as she was a bit of a gypsy and always enjoyed an adventure. Sharon also had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Everyone that knew her loved the joy that she had and loved to share. She loved people and worked for many years as an employment counselor and this fit her great people skills. Sharon had a great heart for stray animals and troubled people. She was known for taking either in and would help anyone. Later in life, she married a man from West Virginia (William F. Crawford 1944-2023). She lived the rest of her life in WV and greatly enjoyed the beautiful mountains there. Her family was very important to her. She came to Michigan for several months to help out when her grandson was born and was a real blessing to the family. In her later years she came to know Christ and received His forgiveness and eternal life. She loved to read the Bible and attend church. In all it could be said she was person with a fine mind but an even bigger heart. We sure miss her but give thanks that we had her in our lives. She was known to some as Sharon and to others as Lynne, but to me she was Mom. Her cremation remains are buried on the same plot as her parents in Dimondale Cemetery.

I obtained mercy. 1 Tim. 1:16 - However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life. (KJV)
