US Congressman. Elected to represent Kentucky's 8th District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1919 to 1921, being defeated as Republican in 1920. He also served as Kentucky State Court Judge in 1931, and was an unsuccessful candidate for Governor of Kentucky in 1935 and 1939.
