Services for Herbert Emerson Ogle, 87, of 320 W. Oklahoma who died Monday in the Anadarko Municipal Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. Alden G. Showalter, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery at Lawton under the direction of Smith Funeral Chapel.
Born May 20, 1882 in Prairie Center, Kan., Ogle had been a resident of Anadarko since 1901. He had been employed by the railroad and Western Union. He also operated a grocery store here for a short time. He was preceded in death by his wife July 11, 1955.
Survivors include one son, Ryffe E. of Anadarko; two brothers; one sister, Mrs. Arden Pixler of Hobbs, N.M.
