EUNICE-A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 2:00 pm at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice for Leo Bellow, 86, who passed away on Friday, April 17, 2009 at Belle Teche Nursing Home in New Iberia. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Paul Mausoleum with Father Tom Voorhies officiating.

Leo, a native of Eunice and a resident of New Iberia, was a veteran of the United States Navy and Merchant Marines, having served in World War II. For over 30 years, he owned and operated Bellow's TV Service in Eunice.

A loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather, Leo is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Lillie C. Bellow, native of Eunice and resident of New Iberia; two sons, Lloyd Bellow of San Francisco, CA and Philip Bellow and wife, Rochelle of Wooster, OH; one daughter, Lisa B. Seneca and husband, James of New Iberia; one brother, Adam "Brother" Johnson of Eunice; two sisters, Rena Dupre and Thelma Higginbottom, both of Eunice; and five grandchildren, Stuart Bellow, Grace Bellow, Maureen Bellow, Celeste Manuel, and Caroline Seneca. Leo will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Artelus Bellow and Amelia Johnson; three brothers, Lawrence Bellow, Fred Bellow, and Leonce Bellow; and four sisters, Pearl Prudhomme, Mable Lafleur, Belle Bellow, and Edith Bellow.
