Albert V. Armstrong Jr., 86, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Memorials: Donations may be made to the American Heart Association , American Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
Albert was born April 26, 1925, in Fort Worth. He was a veteran of World War II. Albert's life was based around his family and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, James Albert Armstrong; daughter, Barbara Jean Armstrong Brown; and one grandson, Rusty Wayne Armstrong.
Survivors: Wife, Cora "Betty" Armstrong; sons, Larry Armstrong, Ronny Armstrong and Rickey Armstrong and wife, Kathy; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
