Helen P. PALMER was born April 18, 1900 in New London, Huron county, Ohio, the daughter of Attorney Edgar M. PALMER and Blanche BUFFENMYER. Helen married at age 19, Frank S. MERRILL and they had two daughters, Mariana and Sally and a son Jim MERRILL. Frank S. MERRILL died Sept. 8, 1970/1971 in Volusia co., Florida (apparently they divorced) and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Painesville, Ohio. Helen married Merton J. HENRICLE the son of Frank Lewis HENRICLE Jr. and Myra JORDAN. Helen died November 26, 1976 at home, 9300 Headlands Road, Mentor, Ohio at age 76 after a long illness. Her husband, Merton died October 15, 1977 at Lake Co. Memorial Hospital, Painesville, Ohio at age 76 following a lingering illness. They were both buried in Mentor Municipal Cemetery, Mentor, Ohio. They were members of the First Congregational Church of Painesville. Her daughter, Mrs. Howard G. (Mariana Palmer) BLAIR died Dec. 15, 2001 at her home, Isle of Palms, Charleston county, South Carolina at age 79. Her daughter, Mrs. John (Sally) HOULE lived in Topsville, Massachusetts and Mt. Pleasant, S.C. and her son, Jim MERRILL lived in Ohio. Helen was the sister of Thomas "Wendell" PALMER of New London who died Dec. 1975 and Mrs. Omer (Ruth E.) RICH of Dayton, Ohio who died April 1985 in Dayton.
