Frances L. McNeff Bunten of Danville died Saturday at the age of 89.
Born Oct. 5, 1919, in Putnam County, she was a daughter of the late Tilden and Edith Vestal McNeff. She was married to Elmer Bunten for 62 years before his death on Sept. 21, 2000.
Mrs. Bunten was a 1937 graduate of Greencastle High School where she ran track and played basketball. She was a farm wife and a member of Groveland Order of Eastern Star No. 330.
Survivors include daughters Sylvia Gass of Mace, Patricia Berbeco of Bloomington, and Marcia Bunten of Indianapolis; sons John Bunten of Indianapolis and Douglas Bunten of New Winchester; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were five brothers and sisters and a grandson.
Services re 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hays Funeral Home in Coatesville. Interment will be at New Winchester Cemetery.
Calling at the funeral home is for two hours prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
