Born in Tennessee, at 25 years old got married to Ada Clementine Choate, had three children, Wilbert (b. 1908), Wilma (b. 1909 d.1995), and Willis (b. 1912). 1910 Census shows Shadrick living in Los Angeles, 1920 Census shows he lived back in Fentress County, 1930 Census he is living again in Taft California. On 12 Sep 1918 he registered for WWI while residing in Fentress County, Tennessee.
