Janet, of Pinconning, Michigan, passed away Monday. Janet was the youngest daughter of Theron J. (Dutch) and Gladys Holtz.
They have preceded her in death along with her old sister Patricia and her daughter Polly Ann Reeves. Janet graduated from Mason, MI High School - class of 1956. Janet and Larry were married on July 29, 1972.
She was retired from Pinconning Area School as the Secretary to the High School Principal. Janet found her most joy talking and sharing time with her children; grandchildren; nieces and nephews, and her special brother-in-law James Blauvelt, Mason, MI. Janet will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Janet is survived by her husband Larry Hetherington and her two sons, Clarence II (Joe), and wife Tina, Reeves, of Mason MI and Gregory (Buc) Reeves of Pinconning.
Surviving also are her two grandsons, Jeremy Reeves, of Chandler, AZ and Brandon Reeves of Mason, MI; step grandchildren: Ryan (Amy) Bartrum, Tim (Veronica) Bartrum and Angela Bartrum all of Brighton, MI and four step great grandchildren: Tabitha, Alexis, Anthony and Trevor. Brother-in-law James Blauvelt; nephew Terry (Debbie) Blauvelt; niece Jamie (Scott) Robinson; great nieces: Tory Browers, Lindsey Robinson, Katie Blauvelt; great nephews, Jared Browers and Andy Blauvelt; special best friends, Bucky and Pat Schumann.
Funeral Mass was celebrated Friday, June 3, 2011 at St. Michael's Catholic Church. A Prayer Vigil was held.
In lieu of flowers those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Diabetes Foundation, Kidney Association or the American Cancer Society .
