He married Billie Ruth White on 22 November 1986 at Breckenridge, Texas.
D.C. worked as a Truck Service Manager for R.L. Anderson, International for 28 years and was a member of Broadview Baptist Church in Abilene.
He was preceded in death by his first wife - Wilma Jean Pardue Rowell; his parents; one infant daughter - Pennie Ann; one son - Danny Carl Rowell; two sisters.
Survived by his wife; three sons - Randy Rowell, Bob Faulkner and John Faulkner, all of Abilene, two daughters - Debra Gaither and Kay Harris; one brother - Bobby Rowell of Breckenridge; two sisters - Ruby Anderson and Johnny Powell; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
