MARLOW — Graveside service for Edgar R. Lamb, 91, Marlow, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Marlow Cemetery with the Rev. Clarence Mize officiating. Mr. Lamb died Saturday, June 21, 2003, in Duncan. Burial will be under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. He was born April 2, 1912, in Bowie, Texas, to William Crawford and Cassandra Birdean Boyd Lamb. He married Edna M. Simpson Lamb on Feb. 9, 1937, in Marlow. He was a self-employed mechanic and lived in Stephens County for most of his life. Survivors include his wife, of the home; three daughters: Wanona Carlton, Paris, Texas; Billi Geary and her husband Dennis, Ardmore; and Edwina Keener, Punta Gorda, Fla.; a son, Eddie C. Lamb and his wife, Paula, Marlow; a sister, Gladys Weatherly Rutledge; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
