LINCOLN - Almetta M. Danoski, 94, of Lincoln died at 12:10 p.m. Monday (Dec. 1, 1997) at Christian Village Nursing Home, Lincoln.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Lincoln Christian Church, Lincoln, with Tim Searby and Marianna Taylor officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lincoln. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
Memorials may be made to the Christian Village Nursing Home, Lincoln.
She was born Aug. 27, 1903, in South Schuyler County near Rushville, a daughter of Elmer and Myrtle Cameron Dewitt. She married Russell C. Logsdon. He died in 1961. She then married Peter J. Danoski. He died in 1975.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna L. Griffin, Lincoln, and Rita C. Logsdon of Springfield; one son, Arlyn R. (Frances) Logsdon, Columbia, Tenn.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
