Mr. Beard died at his home at Tanyard Springs March 16, following a brief illness. He was 70. A native of Warren county, Mr. Beard was born April 25, 1882. He was married 59 years ago to Miss Rose Gore, who survives and he was a member of the Baptist church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Moses and Hubert Beard, McMinnville, and William and Raymond Beard, Painesville, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. Cap Harper, Painesville, Ohio: Mrs. James Pack and Mrs. Manson Pack, McMinnville and Mrs. Wiley Devasier, Ohio.
