Henry John Richard (Henry I. R.) Failing, 1785 – 1859;
Johann Dieterich (Richard) Failing, 1787 – 1868;
Anna (Nancy) Failing, 1792 – 1860;
John D. Failing Jr., 1797 – 1890, and;
Margaret Failing
Service: John D. Failing served in the Revolution as a private in Col. Jacob Klock's Tryon Co. Militia.

John Failing and his wife are buried in the Parish Cemetery in the town of Pamelia, Jefferson County, N.Y. He was taken prisoner by the Indians at St. Johnsville, Montgomery County, N.Y. at a block house where the New York Central station now stands. At that time it was his farm.
