She was born November 5, 1924, to Oscar Edward and Bobbie Kincaid Brewer Baber at Tishomingo OK. She graduated from Pontotoc High School and was a homemaker. She and Roy Kennedy were married in 1975; he died in August 1989.
Survivors include her son Marvin Clark and wife Gena of Noble OK; daughters Verbalene Simpson and husband Cliff of Chapel Hill TN, Teresa Stoud and husband Tony of Guthrie OK, and Lenora Englebretson of Union City OK; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother James "Peck" Baber; sisters Mildred Pierce, Mary Ann Holt, and Betty Jo Hamilton; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
