Sadie Marie Jinkens was born in Phillipsburg, Mo. to Philip Frank Jinkens and Mary Jane Helt Jinkens. She was one of 8 children: James, Artie, Samantha, Earl, Serena, Lillian, and Edna. She was first married to Spied Jameson, who was killed in a mine accident just 6 months after the wedding. On Nov. 26, 1926 she married Harvey S. Ingle in Neodesha, Kansas. They were just short of the 38th year of marriage at the time of her death. The had two daughters, Alma Jean and Nancy Jean. Sadie was a wonderful cook and baker and loved to see her children and grandchildren enjoy her food. She also loved her flower garden and loved to pack up her cane pole and go fishing on Cow Creek. She was a beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews and was Aunt Sadie to many unrelated people who adopted her along the journey of her life.
