The funeral will be Wednesday, at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Miller with the Rev. Fred Rosin officiating. Burial will be in the GAR Cemetery. Friends may call at the Reck Funeral Home in Miller Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Harold Horn was born March 13, 1907, at Ottuma, Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. Delmar and Armina (Henderson) Horn. As a young child he moved with his parents to the Miller area.
He married Helen E. Christianson November 27, 1935 at Redfield. They farmed in the Bonilla and Wolsey area. In 1952 they moved to St. Lawrence. He began working for the State highway department in 1953, and in 1955 they moved to Miller. He retired from the highway department in 1974.
Survivors include his wife, Helen of Miller; two sons, Larry of Rapid City and Gene of Wessington; two dfaughters, Mrs. Harvey (Karen) Seaton of Sioux Falls, and Mrs. Neil (Judy) Davis of Yakima, Washington; 12 grandchildren, 3 geat-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Gwen Wilson of Huron, and Mrs. Lucille Hazzard of Wessington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Carmen Boyd, two brothers, Verlin and Walter and one granddaughter.
