Sally Ann Carpenter, age 67, of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at her residence in Hamilton. She was born January 23, 1940 in Stockton, Ohio the daughter of Cecil John and Mary Ann (Smith) Sloas.

Sally enjoyed watching television, flowers and eating cookies. She loved birds and other animals, but most of all, she loved her family.

She is survived by her children, Kammy Crist of NC, Anita (Benny) Napier of Williamsburg, IN, Peggy (Mike) Cheek of Trenton, OH, Brian Carpenter, Shane (Kelly) Carpenter of Portsmouth, OH, and Mary (Keith) Shuttleworth of Bremen, OH; brothers, John, Lewis and Bill Sloas; sisters, Christene Rose and Karen Risner; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Roy Oricel Sloas.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday, June 22, 2007 at the Edgewood Baptist Church, 5335 Trent-Oxford Rd., Trenton. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the services, beginning at noon. Burial will be in Hickory Flats Cemetery. The Smith & Ogle Funeral Home of Oxford is assisting the family.
