Robert James Henderson Jr. HENDERSON Robert James Henderson, Jr. - an 83 year-old lifelong resident of Satsuma passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at his home. He was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Satsuma. Mr. Henderson is survived by his beloved wife, Mildred Elizabeth Henderson; children, Robert James Henderson, III (Paula), Daniel Henderson (Jennifer), David Henderson (Stephanie), Diane Nations (Stan) all of Satsuma, and Faith Evans (Warren) of Houston, TX; brother, Bill Henderson (Linda) of Round Rock, TX; sisters, Margie Windham of Satsuma, Delores Moore (Jack) of Jacksonville, FL, Jeanette Hill (Paul), and Sandra Herrington both of Daphne, AL; nine grandchildren; six great-grand-children; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the First Baptist Church of Satsuma on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at 12 noon with Rev. Roy Hill officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Creola Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be his sons and grandsons with the members of his Sunday school class serving as honorary pallbearers. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneral home-saraland.com.
