He was employed in health services to Travis Clinic and Nan Travis Hospital in Jacksonville for 42 years before retiring in 1986. He was passed away at his home in Palestine, TX. His wife of 62 years, Leonora Jean Warrington Reece, passed away on 16 April 2011. He was survived by three sons, Michael Reece of North Zulch, Randall Eugene Reece of Ashville, NC, and Charles Harbert Reece of Frederick, MD; one sister, Lottie Clay Reece Altenhofel of Dallas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
