On September 10,2011, Robert "Robby" Harding's wonderful dance with life ended in a tragic car accident. Robby was 18. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 16, in the South Auditorium of Timberline Church, 2908 Timberline Road. Maria McLain Cox will lead the services. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Fort Collins. Robby's friends and family will gather at Horsetooth Reservoir at 12:00 p.m. Robby was born in Calvert County, Md., on July 4, 1993, and lived in Maryland until age 12. He graduated from Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins in 2011 and was a student at Front Range Community College. Robby was a star football player in the position of running back while he lived in Maryland. He enjoyed cooking and snowboarding and he was interested in nutrition. Robby looked forward to his workouts at the Fort Collins Club. But above all, Robby loved hangin' with his many, many friends. He was the best of friends with his mother. Robby is survived by his mother, Katie Harding whom he was the only child of and was very close with, and her boyfriend Thanh Lam, of Fort Collins; grandparents, Paul and Sandra Harding of Kentucky, and June Green of Maryland. He also leaves his uncle, David Green; his aunt, Denise Fishel; his aunt and uncle, Louise and George Fillman; and his cousins, Ashley Green, Nicholas Cullins and Jonathan and Delany Fishel. Robby is also survived by his best friends, Kyle Arenson, Taylor Arenson, Austin Roberts, David Coleman, George Pastragna, Dillan McDermick, Brandon Gianopolis, Jacob Anasari and Greg Sviskey and many other close friends. Robby was preceded in death by his father, William R. Green, his grandfather Billy Green, and by his role model and mentor, Tim Arenson. Robby's dog, Stormy, was his best friend ever; and she'll now live with Grandma June. Contributions in Robby's memory, to assist with funeral and burial expenses, may be made to the Robby Harding Memorial Fund, in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 W.
