Arthur George Baruth, age 90, a resident of St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc, died on Oct. 25, 2007.
Arthur was born on Sept. 22, 1917, in the town of Manitowoc Rapids, son of the late Reinhold and Inga (Madson) Baruth. He was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, class of 1935. On Jan. 19, 1943, Arthur married Mary Jane Cybert in Manitowoc. The couple celebrated their 64th anniversary before her death on Jan. 21, 2007. He retired as a contract sales and business manager in 1982 from Mirro Company, Manitowoc, after 42 years of service. Arthur, along with his wife, Mary Jane, was an avid golfer. The couple enjoyed card playing and swimming at the YMCA.

He was preceded in death by an infant sister and his brother and sister-in-law: Elton and Helen Baruth.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Steven Hahm. Arthur will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery following cremation.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center is assisting the Baruth family with funeral arrangements.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Mary's Home for their care and compassion shown toward Arthur and his family.
