Billy Joe Daulton, age 64, a resident of the Solway Community, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at the Etowah Health Care Center.

Mr. Daulton was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Christine Daulton, by his parents, William Ollie Daulton and Dorthula Mae Jones Daulton, and by a brother, Ernie McGown.

Mr. Daulton was employed at Pathway Bellows in Oak Ridge as a supervisor for 25 years before his retirement in 2001.

He attended the Solway Baptist Church and he served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by daughters; Angela Wilson and husband, Rodney and Amanda Daulton and husband, Venture McGee all of Solway, by a grandson, Michael Victor Kvasnikoff, by brothers; Donald Daulton of Clinton, Larry McGown of Oak Ridge, and Dwayne Daulton and fianc'ee Carla Letsinger of Sweetwater.

He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and special friends including, Robyn Jones and Cleo Matthews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 17, 2011, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ray Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
