A native of Hickman County, Tenn., she moved to Nashville, Ga., from Lakeland five years ago. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters, Frances Pearson of Nashville, Ga., Linda Duenas, of Midland, Mich., Nancy Webb of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Patricia Bain of Nashville, Ga.; her son Gary Bain, of Thonotosassa and Andy Bain of Midland, Mich.; her sisters Girlene (should be Gurlene) Nicholson of Polk City, Evelyn Rugledge of Clearmont, Bessie Walker of Auburndale, Margie Jones of Anchorage, Alaska and Betty Elliot of Lakeland; her brothers Clyde Thornton, Ray Thornton and John V. Thornton all of Lakeland, and Billy Thornton, El Paso, Texas; four grandchildren.
