Katy, 97, 188 Golden Ln., Elida, died at 5:06 p.m., at St. Rita's Medical Center.

She was a daughter to Andrew and Alice (Shinner) Law. Her stepfather, Theodore Graff, preceded her in death. On Feb 11, 1936, she married Robert Altenbach, who also preceded her in death.

Surviving are three sons, David (Janice) and Dan (Cheryl), both Bradenton, FL, and Tom (Marilyn), Lima; a brother, Edward (Mary) Graff, St. Petersburg, FL; and seventeen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchidlren.

Deceased are a son, Bobby; a brother, Clifford Law; and two grandchildren.

She had been a secretary for Longmeier Stippich and a clerk at Stippich Hardware. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Society and the bereavement group. She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370 Auxiliary, Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54 Auxiliary and the Lima Senior Citizens, where she had been a volunteer. She was a member of the Red Hat Honey Bears and had been the 2004 grand marshal of the Lima Irish Parade. She enjoyed line dancing and dance aerobics, playing bridge and spending time taking trips with her Red Hat friends. She enjoyed Friday breakfast with 'the gang.'

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Gerard Catholic Church, with Fr. Mike Houston officiating.
