LONGTIME RESIDENT OF OSAGE, 76 DIES
Osage, Ia – Mrs. Oline Forslund 76, longtime resident of Osage, died late Friday night at the Wass Nursing Home in Mason City of complications arising from a broken hip and advanced age. She had been a patient thee for the past year.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Osage Lutcheran Church with Rev. T. P. Solem, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
She was born Oline Churness, August 25, 1873, at Ferryville, Wisconsin and was married to John Forslund in 1906. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where they lived until 1911, when they moved to Osage.
Survivors include one son, Odell, Forest City, Ia.; one daughter, Mrs. Erling Dahley, Nora Springs, Ia.; six grandchildren; one sister; Mrs. Sig Klemesrud, Osage; and two brothers; Elmer, also of Osage; and John, Mt. Sterling, Wis.
Her husband and an infant daughter preceded her in death.
