ARLINGTON - Benjamin A. Dickson, a retired Air Force chief warrant officer, died Saturday at a Fort Worth hospital. He was 69.

There will be no funeral.

The body was donated to medical science at Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Hugh M. Moore & Sons Funeral Home in Arlington was in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the home of a daughter, Andrea Darby, in Arlington from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Chief Warrant Officer Dickson was born in Sarepta, Miss.

He entered the Army Air Corps in 1940 and was a veteran of World War II. He retired in 1970.

He had lived in Arlington since 1968. He was a 32nd-degree Mason.

The family suggests memorials be made to Camp Sweeney for Diabetic Children in Dallas, Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas or Ronald McDonald House in Fort Worth.

Survivors: Spouse, Phyllis Fussell; four sons, Bryan Dickson of Richardson, Reid Dickson of Arlington, David Fussell of Bedford and Michael Fussell of Rendon; three daughters, Susan Morrison of Freeport, Ill., Andrea Darby of Arlington and Donna Stephens of Silsbee; brother, Delaine Dickson of Bruce, Miss.; sister, Jean Grimes of Sardis, Miss.; and 10 grandchildren.
