Laurine H. Ralston, 96 of Oaknoll died, Thursday, February 10, 2006 after a lengthy illness.
Laurine was born October 9, 1909 in Keswick, Iowa the daughter of Shirley LeRoy and Margaret Jane (Mc Clelland) Norris. She married Frederick Ralston in 1930 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was a school teacher for many years.
She was a member of United Methodist Church and the Rebekahs Carnation Lodge.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Lea and her husband Shirley L Webster of Burlington, Iowa, two grandchildren, Randy Lee Webster of New Jersey and Beth Ann Webster Pittman and husband Tommy of Lula, Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Dale, her sisters, Gladys Elliott, Ruth Norton, Bessie Wren, Blanche Detweiler and by her two brothers, Willard and Warren.
Visitation will be held on Monday February 13 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, 605 Kirkwood Ave, Iowa City, IA. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Oaknoll Retirement Center or First United Methodist Church or donors choice.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Lensing's. Burial will be at Memory Gardens.
