Mary Jonell Booker, 66, of 8101 Hwy. 144, Knottsville died Friday, June 06, 2003 at her home. She was born in Daviess County, Kentucky the daughter of Joseph and Jane Payne Millay. She was employed by the Daviess County Board of Education as a Bus Driver for 13 years and also worked at General Electric for 18 years. She was a member of St. William Catholic Church. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, crocheting and bingo.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, William J. Booker; two sons, Steve Booker and Joey Booker, both of Whitesville; six daughters, Nancy Boarman, Darlene Stone and LaDonna Stevens, all of Owensboro, Robin Ward of Maceo, Susan Payne and Angie Lewis both of Knottsville; 24 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one brother, J. M. “Hooker” Millay of Owensboro and one sister, Rhodie Melton of Knottsville
