ELEANOR RAGGIO FORTUNE RUSSELL, 82, of Ripley, Miss., formerly of Memphis, retired secretary for Brodnax Jewelers, died of heart failure Wednesday at Methodist Healthcare-North. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel with burial in Memory Hill Gardens. Mrs. Russell, the widow of James Russell, leaves three sons, Charles Fortune of Bartlett, Robert Fortune of Knoxville and Mark Fortune of Phoenix; two sisters, Julia Burns and Betty Roark, both of Memphis; a brother, George Raggio of Senatobia, Miss., seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Heart Association.
