They were living at Rt. 1 in Durant, Bryan Co, OK on Sept. 12, 1918, when James, age 41, registered for the WWI draft. He made a living farming & was described as medium build & height, with blue eyes & black hair.
On April 11, 1930, James, age 52, & Katherine, age 52, lived in Calera with their daughters, Rosa B., age 20, & Bessie, age 16.
