KINGMAN - Bernice Edna Miles Poland, 95, died Jan. 8, 2007, at Lakepoint Crestview, Wichita. She was born Oct. 9, 1911, in Conway Springs. A longtime Kingman resident, also having lived in Cunningham, Turon, Newton, Wichita and Wolcott, N.Y., she operated a custom sewing and consignments shop and later rented the business after moving back to Kingman.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Visitation is from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, and family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Kingman.
Survivors include: a son, Alwyn, Raleigh, N.C.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
