Hiatt Payne, is buried in the Wise Hill Cemetery, Clever, Christian Co., Missouri, as are William's paternal grandparents, William Henslee and Almira Harp Payne. Maternal grandfather, John H. Hiatt, is buried in the Lockwood Cemetery, Dade Co., MO.
