McGuire Tipton Bowden, 5, of Paris died Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Henry County Medical Center from injuries in a go-cart accident.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Craig Peevyhouse will officiate. Burial will follow in Henry City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Keith Ainley, Rick Phifer, Rick Raney, Chris Bucy, Mark Blankenship and Bobby Bowden.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon and Jeremey Blankenship.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday.

Born Oct. 11, 2004, in Paducah, he was a son of Walter Tipton "Tip" Bowden of Paris and Scarlett Littlejohn of Kentucky.

A family member said he enjoyed collecting anything from Star Wars, being outside and spending time with his dad.

He also leaves two sisters: Zoie Lane Bowden of Mississippi and Eden Elise Turner of Kendall Park, N.J.; one brother: Connor Sullivan Turner of Kendall Park;

Two grandparents: Donald L. Bowden of Paris and Pam Bowland of Cadiz, Ky.; a great-grandmother: Rachel Bowden of Paris; an aunt: Kimberly Russell of Paris;

Four cousins: Courtney Russell of Paris, Bobby Bowden of Henry, Tiffane Pendleton of Virginia and Laura Russell of North Carolina; two great-uncles: Jerry Bowden of Henry and David Bowden of Paris; and a great-aunt: Patty Powley of Paris.
