Funeral for Gus Irvin Terry, 88, of Moulton will be today, August 1, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Redmond Talley officiating. Visitation will be from noon until 2 at the funeral home.
Mr. Terry died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Lawrence Medical Center. He was born November 19, 1921, and was the last surviving child of Gus and Rittie Terry. Mr. Terry was a member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and was retired from Wolverine Tube, Inc. His wife, Buen Dempsey Terry, preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Terry (Brenda), and Rudy Terry (Reda), both of Moulton; one daughter, Judy Looney (Jackie), also of Moulton; grandchildren, Jason Drinkard (Shanna) of Falkville, Joshua Looney (Sarah) of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Alicia Kilpatrick of Moulton; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Wayne Bradford, Jason Drinkard, Kenny Hood, Chris Shaw, Rodger Nix and Brent White.
