Thadeus S. Stout died 6 Sep 1930 at age 98 in Lampasas, TX and is buried in the Center Cemetery Lometa, Lampassas Co, TX.

T.S. Gossett, age 98 years, died Saturday night at 11:50 o'clock at the home. of his son Lonny Gossett, who lives in Ogle community near Lometa. Mr Gossett had for the past three years been making his home at the Confederate Home in Austin,TX and was on a furlough at this time. He had been ill for ten days before death came to him. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock and burial was made in the Center cemetery. Rev. Lawrence Williams, Pastor of the Central Christian Church of Lampasas Conducted the funeral services. Mr. Gossett had been a resident of Lometa section for a period of some 3 years. He is survived by five sons and two daughters. Who are as follows: John Gossett of Gatesville; Thadaius Authur Gossett of Bryan; Claud Gossett of Beaumont; Lonny Gossett of Ogle; and Ed Gossett of Lampasas. Mrs Annie Reeves of Celeste and Mrs Mary Sorenson of Effingham, Kansas. Friends of the family sympathize with them in the loss of their father. He was a brick mason.
