He retired from General Electric Co. after 32 years and was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club. He graduated from East High School in 1961 and attended Columbus College of Art and Design. He attended East Erie Assembly of God. He enjoyed gardening, antique cars and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Lana C. Bard Nagy; a son, Trent Nagy and his wife, Dena, of Harborcreek Township; a daughter, Laura Slivinski and her husband, Wally, of Erie; a sister, Doris Schaff of Clearwater, Fla.; two aunts; five grandchildren; and several cousins.
Burial will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
