She was born Trellis B. Wood on Nov. 30, 1914, near Harrison, Ark. At an early age she moved with her family to Nampa, Idaho. A few years later her family moved to the Okanogen area where she finished school.
She married Harry H. Hawk on Aug, 28, 1948, at Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. They lived in the Seattle area until moving to East Wenatchee in January 1978.
Mrs. Hawk was interested in reading and did a lot of sewing, knitting and crocheting. She was also a lover of flowers and gardening.
Survivors include her husband Harry Hawk, at home,; one daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Winona) Smith, Renton; one brother, Arliss M. Wood, Okanogen; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son in 1967 and one brother.
