Former Justice of Peace Dies
CORSICANA, Texas, Aug. 29. - Carl D. Heather, 46, merchant at Rice fourteen years, and formerly Justice of the Peace, died at a local hospital Monday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Haynie Memorial Methodist Church at Rice.
Heather formerly lived in Dallas. He served in France during the World War. He was a member of the Rice Masonic Lodge. Surviving are his wife; one son, Carl D. Heather Jr., Rice; two sisters and one brother.
