Verlin G. Rusch, 47, of 836 N. 14th St., Manitowoc, died Friday at home. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn Unke will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.

Mr. Rusch was born Feb. 16, 1924, in the Town of Liberty, son of Arnold and Leona Nass Rusch. He married Ethel A. Haupt April 22, 1950, at Manitowoc. He had been employed at Mirro Aluminum Co. until 1966. He was then employed by the city of Manitowoc at the city sewage treatment plant. Mr. Rusch was a member of the International Association of Machinists Local No. 516, a member of the State, County and Municipal Employees Local No. 0731, and the America Bowling Congress.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Steven and David, two daughters, Denise and Susan all at home, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold of Rt. 1 Valders, a brother, Raymond of
Valders, three sisters, Mrs. Roy (Dorene) Kaye of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Jack (Marjorie) Brandel of Columbus, Ohio. A daughter preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Sunday until 11:30 a.m. Monday and then at the church from noon until the time of service.
