Scott A. Andre, 31, West De Pere, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, after a three year battle with cancer. He was born Jan. 7, 1980, to Paul and Marlene (Berg) Andre.

Scott was a graduate of West De Pere High School. He had worked at ASPIRO as an adult caregiver. He volunteered at Big Brothers and Big Sisters, as well as Special Olympics. Scott loved life and was a very social person. No matter where he went, he knew somebody or soon got to know everybody.

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Marlene; his sister, Tawny (Dan) Ambrosius; his brother, Jason Andre; his nieces and nephews, Bailey, Londyn, Gage, Chase, Broc, Koy and his girlfriend, Libby Johnson. Scott is further survived by his grandmother, Dolores Andre; aunts, uncles, cousins and his "Little Brother", David.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Julius Andre; grandmother, Ann Berg; grandfather, Leo Berg; and his uncle, Alfred Berg.

Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth, De Pere, from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday (TODAY) and after 1 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, corner of Lourdes Ave. and Suburban Dr., De Pere. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4 p.m. with Fr. Tim Shillcox, O. Praem., and Deacon Mike VanderBloomen officiating. Burial will take place immediately following Mass in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
