She retired in 1996 from Visteon of Bedford and worked as a medical assistant for 25 years at the Edgewood Clinic with Dr. Richard Hawkins, Dr. George Sorrells and Dr's Mike and Jean Kenrick.

Survivors include two sons, Anthony J. Galloway and Timothy H. Galloway (Marlene J.) all of Bedford; one daughter, Jamie E. Turner of Atlanta, GA; two grandsons, Christopher W. Galloway (Julie) of McCordsville, IN and Travis C. Turner of Chicago, IL; one granddaughter, Carly E. She was also an active volunteer in the community with many church outings, the Dunn "Pink Ladies", the VA in transporting patients and the American Red Cross as a Blood Donor. She enjoyed playing golf, was an avid reader, she loved music, antiques and antiquing, flower gardening, attending social gatherings, and spending time with her family and many friends.
