SOUTH BEND — Carole Jane Carlin, 47, of 1135 S. Main St., Elkhart, formerly of South Bend, died about 4:55 a.m. today In Elkhart General Hospital alter an illness. Mrs.
Carlin was employed by Per¬sonalized Service, Elkhart, for three years.
She was born Feb. 13. 1942, In LaPorte and had lived In Elkhart for three years, moving there from South Bend. On April 13, 198S, in South Bend, as Carole Papoi, she married Douglas E. Carlin, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Angelina Papoi of Plymouth and Mary Carole Carlin of Elkhart; two sons, Joseph Papoi Jr. and Anthony Papoi, both of South Bend; one grandchild; a sis¬ter,. Norma Woldarek of South Bend; a brother, Lee W. Povlock of Fort Wayne; and two half-brothers, Lewis Povlock of South Bend and Howard Povlock of San Antonio, Texas.Services will be »t 11 a.m. Satur¬day at Warner Funeral Home, Osceola. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and one hour before services on Saturday at the funeral home.
