Enos Loney and Sarah Plum (Plumb ?) were married on 20 February 1834 in Chillicothe, Franklin Township, Ross County, Ohio. They moved from Ohio to Illinois where the 1855 State Census shows Enos served in the Militia for three (3) years and they then moved on to the Kansas Territory shortly before 1860. While in Kansas, the children grew up and married, going their own way to TX, OK, CO, CA etc. John P. and Christina had stayed in Illinois.
