Moved with family to Clearwater and attended Clearwater schools. Attended Friends University in the late 1890s. Married pioneer lumberman John H. Engstrom in 1898 and moved to Wichita. Entombment in Old Mission Mausoleum. Survivors: son, John J. of Wichita; daughters, Mrs. H.N. Carber of Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Fred Dold of Wichita.
