Eva R. (Thomas) Woods, 80, of 1200 32nd St. S., a lifelong Montana resident and retired homemaker, died of natural causes Sunday at a local hospital. Services will be private and inurnment of ashes will take place at Hillcrest Lawn Mausoleum. O'Connor Funeral Home is in charge of cremation and arrangements. Memorials are suggested to Shodair Children's Hospital.
She was born June 3, 1916, in Roundup, and graduated from Roundup Catholic High School. She attended college in Billings and in 1936 married William Ray Woods, a Great Falls pharmacist. In 1952 they opened the Second Avenue Pharmacy.
A lifelong homemaker, she belonged to several community organizations, the Meadow Lark Country Club, and enjoyed traveling and playing bridge. Her husband died in 1989. Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie Rae Kennedy of Great Falls, a son, Charles R. Woods of Great Falls, and three grandchildren.
