Lloyd Banks Moser, 64, 1039 View St., died at the Washington County Hospital Friday morning of complications after an illness of 12 days.

He was born at Fairplay, son of the late Orvey O. and Clarinda May (Banks) Moser. He had been living in Hagerstown for the past 40 years.

He had served as assistant superintendent of transportation for the Western Maryland Railway for over ten years and altogether had worked for the railroad for about 44 years.

He was a member of Grace EUB Church and the Friendship Men's Bible Class. He was a teacher in the Sunday School.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Ruth Louise (Hollyday) Moser, Hagerstown; sisters, Mrs. Mary Miller, Hagerstown' Mrs. Rosalyn Snyder, Clear Spring; Mrs. Grace Whittington, Roanoke, Va., two brother, Lionel M. Moser, Hagerstown; John W. Moser, Hagerstown; several nieces and nephews.

The body was removed to the A.K. Coffman funeral home from where services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Dr. Earl Redding and the Rev. Dr. Gordon I. Rider officiating. Interment will be made in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening after 7 o'clock.
