ADAMS RITES
Services will he held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church at Kelliher Thursday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Alice Galena Adams of Kelliher who died June 2 at Lake Julia Rest Home. The Rev. Robert Odden will officiate and burial will be at Kelliher under the direction of the Kolden-Snustad Funeral Home of Blackduck.
Born July 26, 1884 at Joplin, Mo., Mrs. Adams moved to Iowa as a young woman. She was married to Frank Adams in 1905 and they moved to the Kelliher community in 1912 where the family resided until the death of Mr. Adams in 1956. She had been a resident at Lake Julia the past five years.
Surviving are two sons, John of Kelliher and Lawrence of San Rapheal, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Houchin (Alice) and Mrs. Cecelia Schneidermann of Kelliher; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. A son, Frank, also preceded her in death.
